Data Deletion

You can delete your Elsewonder account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. This page explains how, what is deleted from our servers, what we keep and why, and what account deletion does not cover.

Last updated: 17 October 2026 Elsewonder: AI Photo Editor · com.buldailabs.elsewonder

1. Delete Your Data in the App

The simplest way is to delete your account inside Elsewonder. This works for guest accounts and registered accounts alike, and you do not need to enter your password again.

  1. Open Elsewonder.
  2. Go to Profile, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete My Data.
  4. Confirm the deletion when the app asks you to.

When the deletion is complete, the app signs you out and returns to the welcome screen. If your account has an email address, a confirmation email is sent to that address.

Have a Google Play subscription? Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play first, as described in Subscriptions and Google Play.

2. What Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following is deleted or cleared on our servers:

DataWhat happens
AI jobsAI processing jobs linked to your account are deleted, together with their files.
Project recordsAny project, uploaded-image and export records linked to your account are deleted.
Verification codesPending email verification codes are deleted.
Device linksThe links between your account and your devices are deleted.
Account detailsYour email address, name, password and guest identifier are removed from the account record. The email address is replaced by an anonymous placeholder.
SessionsEvery active session is signed out.

The account record itself is not removed. It stays, without the details above, together with the records listed in What We Keep, and Why.

Deleting your account does not delete everything. Some records are kept, some processed images are not linked to your account, and your projects, drafts and gallery photos stay on your phone. The next sections explain each case.

3. What We Keep, and Why

We keep some records after deletion because we need them to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, to handle disputes and refunds, and to prevent fraud and abuse. They are kept for as long as they are needed for these purposes.

RecordDetails
Account recordThe scrubbed account record and its internal ID. It no longer contains your email address, name, password or guest identifier.
Purchase recordsSubscription and purchase records, and the billing notifications we received from Google Play. We keep these mainly for legal, tax and accounting obligations and for handling disputes and refunds.
GrantsAny administrative or entitlement grants made to the account.
Usage profileThe account’s legacy usage profile.
Usage recordsRecords of the earlier credit system: credit purchases and per-action usage entries, if the account has any.
Email hashA keyed hash of your normalized email address, used to prevent abuse of free features. It is not your email address itself.
Device profileA device profile that holds a keyed hash of the app-installation identifier.
Photo fingerprintsSHA-256 fingerprints (hashes) of photos processed with Face Makeover. A fingerprint cannot be turned back into the photo.
Server logsLogs recorded by our servers.

4. Images Not Linked to Your Account

Our servers store some processed images without linking them to an account — for example the results of Makeup, Sharpen, Image Blender, Skin Retouch, GIF effects and Funny Mode, and of exports from the editor that apply filters or adjustments. Because these images are not linked to your account, deleting your account does not remove them.

They remain on our servers until we remove them; there is no automatic deletion schedule for them yet. You can email support@elsewonder.com to ask us to look for them and delete them. To find them we may need details such as the date and the tool you used, and without an account link we cannot always identify a file.

5. Data on Your Phone

Deleting your account does not remove your projects, drafts or saved photos from your phone:

  • Projects and drafts are stored only on your phone. Elsewonder keeps at most 10 drafts, for up to 7 days.
  • Photos you saved to your gallery stay in your gallery.

To remove Elsewonder’s data from your phone, uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings. Delete any gallery photos you no longer want yourself, in your gallery app.

6. Subscriptions and Google Play

Deleting your Elsewonder account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

If you have a subscription, cancel it in Google Play before you delete your account: open the Play Store and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Google keeps its own records of your purchases under Google’s privacy policy. The subscription and purchase records that we keep are described in What We Keep, and Why.

7. Advertising Data

If you use Elsewonder Free, Google AdMob processes advertising data under Google’s policies. You can:

  • reset or delete your Android advertising ID in your phone’s Android settings;
  • change your ad consent choices in the app under Profile → Settings → Privacy Options, when that option is shown.

8. Requesting Deletion Without the App

If you cannot use the app, you can ask us by email to delete your account:

  1. Write to support@elsewonder.com from the email address of your Elsewonder account.
  2. Use the subject line Data deletion request.
  3. We may ask you for information to confirm that the account belongs to you. Never send your password by email.

Guest accounts have no email address, so we may not be able to identify a guest account from an email request. For a guest account, deleting from inside the app is the reliable way.

We answer deletion requests within the time limits set by applicable law.

9. Deleting Specific Data and Your Other Rights

You do not have to delete your account to remove some of your data. You can email support@elsewonder.com to ask us to delete specific data while keeping your account, or to access or correct your data.

Your rights are explained in the Privacy Policy.
